Why? Um... no profound reason, really... just something fun. They started out as a way to make someone smile, then turned into an ongoing design challenge: Within the constraints of the smiley, how could I make fun, self-contained, unique characters. Luckily, it also stayed fun.

The few that have a "Click to purchase!" note are available on items such as t-shirts, coffee mugs, and mouse pads.
